Kabutank by Doran-Dragon Kabutank by Doran-Dragon
Kabutank is the fourth and final stage found in the Kabuto evolution line. Truely legendary by it's defense and the fact that this species of Kabuto have been rarely seen in the wild or in the care of any trainer seen today. Fossils of this pokemon have been found in places that were one deep ocean in the Precambrian Era. this stage of evolution came about by the predatory creatures thet liked to hunt Kabuto, and it's larger form, Kabutops, creatures like the Plesiaras, the original, and more agressive, form of the known pokemon Lapras. The thick, heavy shell of the Kabutank made it hard for the Plesiaras to carry it off to eat. Of course there were always other predators that had developed in order to counter this form of defense. The Omasquid, which was the final evolution of Omanyte, and origins of pokemon such as Tentacool and Octillery, had developed long strong tenticals to grab and smash the shells of the Kabutank. Kabutank also developed a technique to ward off the Omasquid. The spike tail held a posion that temporarily paralyzes a pokemon that has been struck. This was so that they could get away from the attacker.

There is one famous story that explained the eventual apperance and discovery of this pokemon. The story is of a trainer named of Gold. Gold had the strongest pokemon of his time, but even he seemed to be no match for the legendary trainer Red. With all but his last pokemon knocked out, Gold felt as if he was a failure as a trainer. His Kabutops noticed and tried his hardest to beat the opposing trainer, and in frey, he grew. he grew into a whole new creature, but even then, he was losing. The new Kabubite, had finaly fallen, but would still not give up. It still stood in defiance against the Trainer's Pikachu, but the Pikachu was too strong, not to mention he still had all his pokemon left. The Kabubite almost gave up all hope, but then suddenly felt a surge of energy flowing through it's torn and tattered body. The Kabubite, unaware that it had grew to a new monumental size, and had a new form. While it couldn't move as nimbly as it could before, it was much less affected by the attacks used against it. It had become a true legend. After one strike, the Pikachu had been wounded in a way that it couldn't fight. one by one, Red's pokemon had been defeated in a similar way. Gold, befuddle by what had happened, witness the most amazing of miracles. He witnessed the birth of a new legend.

it's also called a tank, because its about a little bigger than the traditionaly thought of tank. and if i'm not mistaken, most legendarys have 600 or such total stats right? well now I have to color it and such XD you know what. if people see this and want to color it, they can. It's Shell is a darker grey-blue/green color and it's sickle arms are still that shiny grey-silver
